Our Measurement and Analysis centre of expertise provides metrological services to ensure measurement processes and results are reliable and representative.
Working primarily to evaluate the exploitation potential of industrial waste and by-products, we use our skills and resources to help implement and define measurement protocols.
We run major campaigns sampling and characterising input and output waste streams, to prepare materials for recycling (1):
- End-of-life vehicles (ELVs),
- Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)
- Furniture waste
- Polymer blends
- General waste (mixed or residual household waste, ordinary industrial waste)
With our clients, we establish sampling plans and protocols, ensuring results are statistically representative.
Our technical and human resources allow us to remain as mobile as possible when working on industrial sites. When analyses must be performed using non-mobile equipment (spectrometers), they are completed in our head office laboratory using traced samples.
In addition to developing specific protocols for clients, the Measurement and Analysis team participates in French and European standardisation groups (AFNOR, CENELEC etc.)
(1) In particular for ADEME, Eco-Systèmes, WEEE Forum, Eco-mobilier, Ecofolio, Eco-emballages, Syctom de Paris, CG34 and others.
